Recreational Diving Courses

Try Dive

Get a taste of being underwater and see if it is for you. An instructor will be with you the entire time and will explain all you need to know for a session of breathing underwater.

DSD Scuba Diving

A step forward with your Intro dive, DSD gives you the pre-entry level to trial a first dive and start your beginners course if you like. This mini course consists of 2 or 3 Dives to explore being a scuba diver.

Open Water Diver

Learn to dive! This is the entry level course that allows you and a buddy to dive independently.

Junior Open Water

Junior Open Water Diver is a special scuba certification for divers who are at least 10 years old, but younger than 15. The Junior Open Water Diver course covers the same material as the standard Open Water Diver course but has smaller teacher-to-student ratios and shallower depth limits.

Junior Advanced Open Water

The Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certificate is for children between 12 and 15 years. This certificate allows them to dive with an adult certified diver to a maximum depth of 21 meters. This is also their maximum depth during the course.

Scuba Diver

The Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water course. It is the first 3 confined water dives, out of 5, and the first 2 Open Water dives, out of 4. This is a good start for those short on time or unable to complete the Open Water course. The course certifies you to dive to 12m with a professional.

Advanced Open Water

Learn more navigation and have fun trying new things on a 5 dive course.

Guided Fun Dives

We can take you on guided recreational or "fun" dives. You'll always have a guide leading the dive to point out the cool stuff and keep you safe.

Red Sea Adventures

We have boat trips to Gabr El Bint, wreck diving on the SS Thistlegorm with an optional dive at Ras Mohamed and a boat or camel ride to Ras Abu Galum.

Scubility Diving

The Scubility Diver Program is designed to give physically disabled divers the necessary skills and techniques used to conduct open water dives in conditions similar to their training without the direct supervision of a Scubility Instructor.

What is Tec Diving?

Technical diving is a form of scuba diving that exceeds the agency-specified limits of recreational diving for non-professional purposes. Tec diving involves untypical limits of depth and bottom time, accelerated decompression and the use of different gas mixtures during the dives.

Dahab has great locations for Tec Diving, some of them almost only visited by Tec divers. Easy shore entries make Tec sites not only a paradise for Tec learning and diving but also sums up to best cost configurations. Intro to Tec

The Intro to Tech Course is an introductory course that expands on recreational training by improving technical dive skills in a controlled and fun learning environment.

Advanced Nitrox Diver

This course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 percent with a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives.

Decompression Procedure Diver

This course will expand your knowledge of decompression theory and diving techniques, extending your bottom time.

Extended Range Diver

This course is considered the most advanced course you can take that still involves using air as your back gas.

Trimix Diver

This course will help you expand your depth range and reduce narcosis during deep dives.
