“Poseidon Divers is a great dive center in Dahab. they are also a career development center, that means they can train the diver all the way up to become an instructor. me and my friends dived with them for 4 days and let me say that it was an amazing experience. the instructors are very keen about safety and good practices. they helped me and my friends to be more comfortable and confident in the water and to have a lot of fun and see the amazing ocean life. i will certainly visit them again and will recommend them to all my friends."

Typical Day
Day One
Introduction
We meet at the dive centre at 9am. We'll go through some paperwork and a medical form before showing you around the dive centre and introducing your instructor. You'll start with a chat and then a video so you can see what is to come. The video and the manual contain the same material. This is part of the teaching method to help you understand and retain the information. You get two different ways of taking in the information, as well as talking it through with your instructor. You'll go to the water to do some self rescue skills. Later you'll start to do some of the 10 skill sessions.
Day Two
More skills
You'll do more of the skills, as well as cover the knowledge reviews and watch the remainder of the video. In the water you will learn a few more practical skills and start to bring them together.
Day Three
Scenarios
Once you've finished the theory and have been well drilled with the skills, you will start the scenarios. Here you pretend the challenges presented to you are real and you use what you have learnt to do your best to handle all that is thrown at you.
At the end of the Rescue Diver course you will certainly have more confidence in your abilities. The next step is to either do the Divemaster course or the Master Scuba Diver challenge.
